Preview and improve writing

Polish a whole draft or a highlighted passage while keeping control of the result.

A preview comes before applying the change

  1. Paste your source text. To change just part of it, highlight the passage and press Use highlighted passage.
  2. Choose a Format and an Edit action. Use format applies the selected format; the other actions shorten, expand wording, change tone, summarize, translate, fix grammar or turn text into bullets.
  3. Add Instructions or follow-up. For Translate, name the target language, for example “Translate into Thai”. Turn on Use my saved writing style preferences if wanted.
  4. Press Preview writing. Review it, add a follow-up and Refine preview if needed. Apply to text box, Apply to note draft or Copy preview when you are happy.

Good to know

Applying to a note draft still needs the note’s Save action to keep it. Previews are temporary and use cloud processing. If you change the source, make a fresh preview before applying.
