Account & data
Understand verification, exports, automatic deletion and account removal.

Account details and verification
- Name / Email
- Shows the account you are currently using.
- Time zone
- Shows your browser/device time zone. If it is wrong, correct the device’s time-zone setting.
- Send verification email
- Sends an ownership check to your account email. Open the email’s link to verify.
- Forgot your password?
- Use this on the sign-in page to request recovery. Completing a reset invalidates existing sessions.
- Export approved library
- Downloads approved reusable material. Private unapproved notes and original audio are not a full part of this export.
Keep your notes: retention period
- Forever (no automatic deletion)
- The default. Notes stay until you delete them or delete the account.
- 30 / 90 / 365 days since last edit
- Enables scheduled permanent deletion of notes untouched for that long. This includes approved library material and recordings. Related generated drafts and undo history are cleared; tasks remain. Original source recordings stay while linked split notes need them.
- Save retention preference
- Applies your selected period. Choose Forever and save before the next maintenance run to stop future automatic removals. Already deleted content cannot be recovered through the app.
Good to know
Opening or reading a note is not an edit. If you want an ongoing personal library, leave automatic deletion off unless you intend to remove old material.
Delete my account and all data
This requires your current password and the exact confirmation requested by the form. It permanently removes your account, notes, tasks, library, drafts and settings. Recording cleanup may retry in the background.
Hosting and database backups have separate provider-controlled expiration periods. Export the approved material you need and download important audio before deleting the account.
